
Andrew Khan has been involved in sales for most of his working life, both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Ingram Micro in 2008, Andrew worked for a major online Auction business in London, Icollertor, much like E-Bay and Trade Me. This gave him some very real, practical experience in dealing with IT security issues that has directly translated to his role in developing the Security product market for Ingram Micro.
Andrew works directly with customers across the entire sales cycle process. He gets to help drive new marketing programmes and to provide the latest product updates and technical training sessions. Having had fifteen years sales and marketing experience, plus another three years in IT sales, Andrew has a great understanding of what customers are looking for.
An absolute security product specialist, Andrew works across a range of four major brands: Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco and IBM. He believes that an ability to respond quickly to a client's request is absolutely critical in this area as IT Security is not something many customers can wait for. What a client needs is not always obvious and Andrew rates very highly the ability to listen and interpret what a customer's issues are and then deliver a complete solution within a tight timeframe.
