Brad King
Brad King is a valued member of the quote desk team based in Wellington. His role involves both configuring and pricing IBM Server and Storage Solutions for customers. Brad continually draws upon his natural sense of humour and believes his directness and honesty are also valued by his growing list of customers. Brad has developed an extensive base of knowledge around server and storage technology.
Ironically his career has almost gone full-circle, having started in the tech sector working for Tech Pacific. When Ingram Micro took over Tech Pacific Brad decided not to follow his role to Auckland and remained in the Capital working first in advertising and then for a small PC assembler. His next move saw him join a client of Ingram Micro in a vendor/distributor role as well as moving into their online product arm. Brad was then snapped up by VAD who was in turn snapped up by Ingram Micro which has resulted in Brad working with some of his old colleagues from Tech Pacific days.
Brad is enjoying being able to make a very real contribution to the Solutions team in the Capital. On the odd occasion when he is not working he can be found playing pool and enjoying the various cafes bars and restaurants Wellington is famous for.
