Darryl Tyson

Darryl Tyson has built up a considerable platform of business and technical expertise over the last decade. Having worked both within New Zealand and internationally he has gained a broad technical knowledge with a very real focus around the areas of networking and unified communications. His first key area of specialisation has been in the switches and routers of the Cisco product range for which he holds several related Cisco Qualifications including, CCNA, CCDA and CCNP.

The second area is Unified Communications, including the Cisco Unified Communications Manager which involves the convergence of voice and data technologies, more commonly seen with the existence of PC to telephony integrations. To support this Darryl has gained the IP Telephony qualification for his CCNP.

In his role as a Solutions Architect, Darryl talks to Ingram Micro customers on a business and technical level regarding their voice and data requirements. He uses the information he gathers to propose an appropriate IT based solution for their specific situation. His technical expertise enables him to supply customers with a deeper knowledge of the current product ranges and therefore expand the options available to them.
