Kaz Otsubo
Kaz Otsubo is quick to point out that his "cauliflower ears" do indeed result from playing rugby. While he brings considerable international experience to his role as an IBM Product Manager, Kaz and his family have truly embraced the "kiwi" lifestyle.
Kaz spent 7 years gaining experience in the Japanese IT industry with a variety of roles including Product Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales and Team Manager for a Japanese semi-conductor distributor. During this time he also worked very closely with the company's suppliers based in Silicon Valley, gaining valuable knowledge of the US industry as well.
For the past 5 years Kaz has enjoyed working in NZ, as both Product Manager and Business Development Manager, selling servers and storage. He has considerable passion for the job he does and gains great satisfaction from running marketing activities, providing sales tools and keeping up to date with technical information to assist Ingram Micro customers.
It is this strong work ethic backed by Kaz's industry knowledge and experience that has made him a valuable member of the Solutions Team.
