Nathan Peterson
Nathan has been a Quote Desk Specialist for over two years and has moved comfortably into this role with Ingram Micro from VAD. He succinctly describes his job as assisting resellers to design and configure solutions for the New Zealand small to medium business market, with IBM SystemX and storage products and CommVault's Simpana Suite.
Being in possession of a constantly enquiring mind Nathan has an avid interest in new technologies and how they can be incorporated into building even better solutions. It is an interest that started with a Bachelor of Science degree and has continued into his working life in a role that allows him to quench his insatiable thirst for knowledge.
Working on the Quote Desk has also allowed Nathan to develop some areas of specialization that particularly interest him. In particular IBM maintenance, CommVault licensing and other Just In Time systems are high on his list of favourites, as a means of being able to provide the best and most efficient service to his customers. He is a highly valued team member who's ‘can-do' attitude and willingness to tackle even the most seemingly unassailable problem has made him extremely popular with colleagues and customers alike.
