Public Internet Access (Hospitality solutions)

If you want to provide high speed broadband internet access for your customers, guests or the public – either as an add-on service or as another revenue stream for your business - then NetComm has a range of simple and secure public internet access solutions for you.

Wireless Hotspots

You can now ensure your patrons or guests are able to use their laptop, PDA or IP phone by creating a wireless hotspot in your cafe, restaurant, lobby or other public area. All you need is an existing broadband connection and a Netcomm wireless Hotspot to ensure high speed wireless internet access is readily available inside and outside even around a pool or throughout a camping ground.

Wired And Wireless Broadband Services With IP DSLAM’S

For larger properties or those wishing to provide more extensive broadband services, an IP DSLAM solution may provide the best solution. An IP DSLAM can be used in any environment where public internet access - on demand - is required – such as hotels, motels, serviced apartments or nursing homes. Using ADSL, ADSL2 or ADSL2+ broadband, an IP DSLAM can be installed in your basement or comms room to deliver three services – high speed internet, Voice over IP (VoIP) and Video on Demand – all using the building's existing telephone lines.
Guest access can be controlled and individual room billing automated by also installing an Internet Access Controller that links to your property management system.

Internet Phone Solutions (VoIP Solution)

At home or in business, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a great way to reduce your phone bill. Also called internet telephony, VoIP allows you to easily make and receive calls over the internet.

What You Need To Make VoIP Calls

  • A broadband internet connection – preferably ADSL but you can also use cable, satellite and wide area wireless broadband
  • Some VoIP hardware to convert your voice for the internet. You can also use a softphone program which turns your PC into an internet phone
  • An account with a VoIP Service Provider (VSP) – a type of phone company that specialises in connecting calls over the internet. By having an account with a VSP you can make calls to any type of phone including land lines and mobiles .. even overseas.

VoIP and Internet telephony are the same thing – they both give you cheaper telephone calls using the Internet instead of the standard (PTSN) landline system.

If you've ever used a phone card to make an international call, you've already made an Internet phone call – most international phone cards offer such low rates because they use the Internet to place your call.

Many people are saving hundreds of dollars every month, simply by using the Internet to make their everyday calls. You can make ALL your phone calls the Internet way – and save hundreds of dollars off your phone bills!
